Baldrick's ingenious use of whistles to create a cease-fire during which our lovely waitresses could serve our food in comparative safety. After taking two direct hits from Mike Williams with the whistle still blasting, the plan was consigned to the bin and the waitresses to their fate. Everyone clearly had a good time and our thanks go to Soc. Sec. for her coping with the ever increasing numbers.
Remember to book early for next year as there is a limit to the numbers the kitchen can cope with.
