About Us

POOLE YACHT CLUB is a large impressive Sailing Club situated in Poole Harbour, offering excellent facilities to its members and visitors at open events. Launching is possible at any state of the tide via a wide concrete slipway with a secondary slipway adjoining the beach alongside. The sailing area for racing is a large expanse of water directly in front of the club.
There are around 30 GP Fourteens at Poole, with class racing on two evenings a week with some week-end Trophy events. Facilities at Poole include a large clubhouse offering a good selection of Beers, Wines, Ales and Lagers etc. Catering is on a daily basis with snacks, meals, teas and occasional barbecues. The club have a NO SMOKING policy in all enclosed areas.
The changing rooms have ample showers and are big enough to cope with the largest of events.

HOW TO FIND US To find Poole Yacht Club is easy, just follow the signs to Poole Channel Ferry and its right next door. Once inside the gates you should find parking no problem.
